Rebecca has 6 years of professional experience working in outreach and communications. She uses her multidisciplinary background in urban planning, marketing, and art/architectural history to develop clear project materials, creative stakeholder activities, and rigorous outreach summaries for diverse audiences. Rebecca is one of the few professionals who truly enjoy synthesizing voluminous bodies of feedback to pull key values and ideas into the next phase of work.

Rebecca found her way into urban planning through public and site-specific art, which she studied while earning her B.A. at Hamilton College and supported first-hand while volunteering at a non-profit gallery in her old neighborhood. Prior to earning her graduate degree in Urban and Environmental Planning at the University of Virginia’s School of Architecture, Rebecca built her strong set of digital engagement skills working in content marketing for a culinary and travel brand back in New York.

Recently, Rebecca’s been busy supporting outreach and helping to project manage the Freeway Park Improvements Project, SDOT Pedestrian Wayfinding Project, Lake Forest Park Town Center Vision, and the RapidRide G Line (Madison St BRT).

There is no logic that can be superimposed on the city; people make it, and it is to them, not buildings, that we must fit our plans.
