Joint Base Lewis-McChord Joint Land Use Study

We provided strategic outreach and planning support as part of the consultant team that prepared the Joint Land Use Study for Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM). Our outreach work included developing and implementing a strategy to guide stakeholder and public engagement, conducting stakeholder interviews, and supporting meetings and briefings for elected officials, a leadership subcommittee, a technical working group and the general public. Our planning work included a review of 26 city, county and tribal land use policy documents and regulatory codes to identify existing policies and regulations that promote compatible civilian growth and development in the vicinity of JBLM. We also supported land use compatibility analysis by defining potential impact areas, evaluating land compatibility in those areas and developing policy recommendations.
